Dupion Silk Fabrics
Dupion silk is one of the choicest silk fabrics manufactured and supplied by Sapna Exports. Dupion is a fine blend of mulberry silk yarn and dupion silk yarn. The dupion silk fabric is popularly known as raw silk fabric and comes in two different qualities:
Indian Dupion Silk - Indian dupion silk is characterized by irregular slubs and is woven on handloom.
Chinese Dupion Silk - Chinese dupion silk has less slubs and can be woven on either handloom or power loom.
Both the India dupion silk and the Chinese dupion silk have a graceful look and natural shine that can be enhanced through crossing yarn colors (double shade) stripes, checks, jacquards, print, embroidery, pin-tuck work and hand painting. The dupion silk fabric is used in both furnishing and garments businesses.
